Replacing
Ballasts

- Disconnect power to sign.
- Remove sign face from either side.
- Remove raceway covers adjacent to faulty ballast. Raceway covers are metal covers that conceal electrical wires.
- Remove wire nuts and cut wires leading to ballast. Take note of wire colors and record if necessary.
- Unscrew faulty ballast and remove.
- Install new ballast.
- Reconnect wires using same color scheme as before removal of old ballast.
- Re-install raceway covers taking care to not pinch any wires.
- Re-install sign face.
- Turn power back on.
