Our prices are normally the lowest available for a couple of very simple reasons.

  • Volume material purchases. Aluminum is purchased by the truckload, not by the job.

  • Niche fabrication procedures.  Painters paint and welders weld.  This can mean a real savings to you.

  • We do not have commissioned salespeople.  While we have great respect for them, we have decided not to use them so that we can offer lower prices.

  • We do not pay for denominational or organizational endorsements.  They may look great on a website or in a brochure but they add to the cost of your sign.

  • A commitment to work hard to make sure your sign cost is as low as possible.  When our price can be beaten... we tell you. Always.

            Pricing

What does a sign cost ?  This is always the very first question we are asked.  We consider it not just a fair question, but one that we want asked.  The concern of fair prices is the very reason we started our company.

In the 1990's we were providing signs to churches in California and it seemed very apparent to us that local prices were much higher than they needed to be.  We were flying installers from North Carolina and shipping signs to Chicago, San Francisco and New York City because our clients were interested in paying less than what was available locally.  This is what started us on our journey to expand our efforts to provide signs to anyone, anywhere. That is what we do today.

It would be wonderful if we could provide a large, beautiful electric message sign for whatever budget someone wanted to spend.  Unfortunately, there are some minimums costs that can make prices more than we wish.  Sometimes, more than the budget allows.

We have provided signs for a few hundred dollars to as much as $ 64,000.00.  Our job is to tell you as much as possible about what kind of sign we can provide for the amount that you want to invest.  We will NEVER attempt to sell you a more expensive sign than you want.  We are honored to work up prices and explain every cost involved in the final price.  All we ever ask is that you ask questions.

We will provide some minimums, most popular and maximum prices in an effort to help you get started on your budget process.  Please feel free to contact us to ask about the sign price that works best for your organization.

  • $ 1500.00    Our lowest priced sign.  A single sided wall mounted sign. Unlighted. Identification. Aluminum extrusion cabinet. Mounting brackets.  Unbreakable face.
  •  $ 3404.00    Our most popular.  A double sided 4' x 8' standard model pedestal mounted sign. Changeable copy track with locking vandal cover. Unbreakable vandal cover and sign face. Aluminum extrusion cabinet. Internally illuminated.
  • $ 8643.00     Our most expensive manual marquee sign. A premier model 6' x 12' double sided sign.  Changeable copy track.  Full coverage unbreakable vandal door with keyed locks and gas struts. Aluminum extrusion cabinet. Ships with engineered foundation drawing and installation pipe. Aluminum pole cover.

We offer approximately 288 configurations of signs from single and double sided, lighted and unlighted, wall, pedestal and monument mountings in twelve standard sizes from 3' x 8' to 6' x 12'.

We offer signs that are custom sizes as well.

We provide proposals on any configuration that you want to consider.  We break out all prices so that you can choose whether an option is desirable to you.  Some companies want to provide you with a price that includes everything and they do not share with you that individual items are very real options that you can be led to believe are provided for free.  This is never the case in real life.  You may not see a cost as a line item but please trust us, the cost is allowed for in the final price.

Things that make up the cost of your new sign...

  • The cabinet.
  • The support provided.  This is the mounting; wall, pedestal or monument.
  • The vandal cover if your sign has changeable copy.
  • The size of the changeable copy that you select. Eight inch letters cost more than do four inch.  This should not surprise you.
  • Electrical provisions... whether your sign is lighted or unlighted.
  • Electric photo cells.
  • Built in on/off switches.
  • Decorative trim options.
  • Logos and artwork.  We do not charge more for complex images.
  • Pole cover graphics. This can include street numbers, logos, statements, etc. If someone tells you they do not charge for this, then they have added it into the price of some other component.
  • Shipping.  We ship prepaid or COD.  Because we enjoy a 70% discount with most major freight companies, most people have us ship their signs prepaid.
  • Installation.  Our signs are designed to be installed by non-professionals when allowed. We ship installation drawings and anchor bolts or installation pipe depending upon the model selected.  Most of our clients install their own signs but we are available to handle any portion or all of your installation needs as you tell us.
  • Permit.  Almost all cities require a sign permit.  This can vary from as little as $ 5.00 to as much as $ 1000.00 depending on where you live.  We ask every prospective new client to make the permit step one in their steps toward acquiring a new sign.  You do not need to be comparing sixty or seventy-two square foot signs if your city only allows signs up to thirty-two square feet.  This is stated emphatically in our free 7 steps guide.  NEVER purchase a sign assuming you can obtain a permit. NEVER remove an existing sign before you know that you can install a new sign.  NEVER assume your new sign will be "grandfathered".  Because obtaining a sign can involve more than one or two trips to your local zoning office, we always recommend that you contact your local officials and begin the process as soon as possible.  If you need assistance in any way, we are always available.
  • Final electrical connection.  A licensed electrical contractor is almost always required by local zoning ordinances.  You will want to meet with an electrician and obtain an estimate to provide power if power is not already present at your new sign location.  Sidewalks, driveways, etc. can impact your cost greatly so this should always be one of your initial considerations as well.
Ready to get a free drawing and proposal ?  We make the process as easy as we can.  If you get confused on any question, we are always a phone call away.
