Cornerstone Companies LLC
was founded by Bob Singleton of Charlotte, North Carolina. Bob
has been designing, fabricating and installing signs since 1984.
Bob and his wife, Ruth, owned and operated a commercial sign
company, Carolina Sign Company. Carolina Sign Company
installed signs throughout the United States. Carolina Sign
Company made signs for every industry. Carolina Sign
Company produced signs for churches from California to New York
City, signs for NASCAR Race Teams, signs for city governments,
interior and exterior signs for schools, signs for Hollywood
movie sets and even party signs for Elizabeth Taylor's
introduction of Passion for Men. This vast exposure helped Bob
and Ruth decide what was dearest to their hearts. Today, they
serve exactly who they want... churches, schools, military
bases, municipalities, fire departments and businesses
throughout the country that are in need of quality signage at
the lowest prices available anywhere on comparable sign models.
Following serving on the Board of Directors
for the United States Sign Council, Bob became convinced after
discussing with fellow sign company owners from around the
country that many churches and schools were paying far more than
necessary for standard institutional marquee signs. In some
areas, prices were twice what they could be. This disparity
formed a conviction for Bob to change the company's focus. The
company's business model would change to reflect the commitment
to help people throughout the country save on their sign
investments.
In 1997 Churchsigns LLC was
formed
to serve churches and schools exclusively throughout the United
States. In 2002, the name was changed to Cornerstone Companies
LLC. Today, Cornerstone Companies has provided signs to
churches, schools, military bases and businesses in 40 states.
Cornerstone works hard to
help prospective new customers understand the differences in
signs and why seemingly similar models differ in price. We never
ask a prospective new customer to invest their valuable time
talking with commissioned sales people that might ask someone to
buy a sign they want them to buy rather than what best suites
their needs and their budget.
Mission Statement To treat our customers as we would want to be treated. It really is
just that simple.
Purpose Statement
We will never settle for being just another average sign
provider. We will as a team, each strive vigorously and
creatively to be the very best provider of marquee signs in the
United States.
