Cornerstone Companies LLC was
founded by Bob Singleton of Charlotte, North Carolina. Bob has been
designing, fabricating and installing signs since 1984. Bob and his wife,
Ruth, owned and operated a commercial sign company, Carolina Sign Company,
Inc. Carolina Sign Company, Inc. provided signs throughout the United
States while their primary focus was on the Carolinas. Carolina Sign
Company, Inc. made signs for a great many industries; Real Estate, Banking,
Racing, Construction and even for Hollywood Movie Producers. This vast and
varied exposure helped Bob and Ruth decide what signs were of greatest
interest to them. Today, they serve the clients they felt best qualified to
serve: churches, schools, military bases, municipalities, fire departments
and businesses in need of marquee signs.
After
serving on the Board of Directors for the United States Sign Council, Bob
became convinced that many churches and schools throughout the US were
paying far more than needed for standard institutional signs. In some areas,
sign costs two or three times what they could. This formed a conviction for
Bob to change the company's focus. The company's business model was changed
to reflect the commitment to help people throughout the country save on
their signs, focusing on serving clients nationally rather than locally or
regionally.
In 1997 Churchsigns
LLC was formed to serve churches and schools exclusively. In 2002, the name
was changed to Cornerstone Companies LLC. Today, Cornerstone Companies has
provided signs to churches, schools, military bases and businesses in 40
states.
Cornerstone works hard to help prospective new customers
understand the differences in signs and why seemingly similar models differ
in price. We never ask a prospective new customer to invest their valuable
time talking with commissioned sales people that might ask someone to buy a
sign they want them to buy rather than what best suites their needs and
their budget.

Mission Statement
To treat our customers as we would want to be treated and to make the
process of buying a new sign simple.
Purpose Statement
We will never settle
for being just another average sign provider. We will as a team, each
striving vigorously and creatively to be the very best provider of signs in
the United States and abroad.
